Do you use preservatives or additives in your meat?Updated 18 days ago

We don’t use any preservatives or additives or growth hormones in our fresh meat. Our beef, lamb, and chicken products are free from added water, fillers, or brine. 

The only exception is our sausages, which use a gluten-free premium sausage mix for added flavour. 

Additionally, our meat does not contain Bovaer or 3-Nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP). We prioritise natural, high-quality farming practices and aim to avoid unnecessary additives or supplements in our meat products.

The chicken we offer is processed using a chlorine rinse, which is a standard food safety practice in Australia. This process is used to reduce harmful bacteria such as Salmonella and Campylobacter. Food-grade chlorine is used at levels within strict regulatory limits and is approved by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). This method is commonly used by Australian poultry producers and is considered safe for consumption.
