We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh and nutritious food, which is why we focus our charitable efforts on partnering with OzHarvest, an incredible organisation dedicated to rescuing surplus food and distributing it to those in need.

Our Commitment to Food Rescue

By collaborating with OzHarvest, we ensure that surplus produce from our operations is redirected to support individuals facing food insecurity. This partnership allows us to play a part in the important work OzHarvest does to alleviate hunger while minimising food waste.

About OzHarvest

OzHarvest was founded in 2004 by Ronni Kahn AO after she noticed the huge volume of food going to waste from her events business. Ronni’s mission began not as a charity initiative but as a response to an obvious problem with a simple solution. Starting with just one van in Sydney, she began rescuing food and delivering it to local charities. Today, OzHarvest stands as Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, driven by the purpose to “Nourish our Country.” Their mission is to stop food waste, feed people in need, and protect our planet by championing the value of food and driving change at all levels of society.

OzHarvest saves over 250 tonnes of good food every week from more than 2,600 food donors, delivering it directly to over 1,500 charities that support those in need. They also create positive change through three national education programs and advocacy efforts aimed at raising awareness about food security, all while working towards the ambitious goal of halving Australia’s food waste by 2030. Innovation is part of OzHarvest's DNA, and they continuously seek to add value and develop new ways to tackle food waste and feed hungry people. This includes pioneering social impact projects such as free supermarkets and restaurants that provide meals for those in need, alongside revenue-generating products via OzHarvest Ventures.

While we deeply appreciate the numerous requests we receive from various charitable organisations, we’re currently unable to donate directly to individual projects or charities due to the volume of inquiries.
