What happens if my delivery is due on or around a public holiday?Updated 13 days ago
At Farmers Pick, we know public holidays are a time to slow down, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy good food — and we’re here to make sure your fruit and veg still fits seamlessly into those plans.
From time to time, public holidays may require small adjustments to our delivery schedule. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about how we manage these changes and what to expect...
🍇Public Holiday Schedules
If your delivery falls on or around a public holiday, we may need to make a temporary adjustment to your schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly and your produce arrives fresh.
For active subscribers, we will contact you approximately four weeks prior to the public holiday if your usual delivery day is affected. Where possible, we’ll provide two alternative delivery dates for you to choose from.
Once you select your preferred date, you’ll be taken to a confirmation page — no further action is required. We’ll also send you a couple of reminder emails leading up to your delivery, so you don’t need to worry.
If neither of the proposed dates suit you, you’ll have the option at that time to skip the order instead.
If we don’t hear from you, we will allocate a new delivery date based on your location, working closely with our third-party delivery routing team to ensure minimal disruption to your schedule.
💻Please note this is a temporary public holiday adjustment only — it won’t be reflected in your customer portal, and your following delivery will automatically resume as normal according to your selected delivery day and frequency.
For new customers, depending on how close to the public holiday you sign up, we’ll keep you informed if your first delivery date needs to change. If you sign up within a few weeks of a public holiday, you may also have the option to skip your first order where applicable.
Our Customer Experience team is always happy to assist with access to your customer portal; however, they are unable to change delivery dates outside of the options provided.
We’re committed to keeping things as simple and stress-free as possible, even during busy holiday periods.
